Diamond Frost can make a bold statement by itself in an ornate pot. It’s mounding habit spills over the side of the pot as it grows, making it a great option for hanging baskets and window or deck planters. It’s drought tolerance makes it an easy pick for those tricky coca liner baskets that dry out in the afternoon sun. The bright white color also makes it a perfect companion plant for annual beds. While great as a stand alone, Diamond Frost is also a favorite for combinations, whether in partial shade or sun. The following are some of Fairview’s favorite companion plants for Diamond Frost. |

| Part Shade Elephant Ear Elephant ears offer a “boutique” look to any combination with their clean, upright foliage. The large, green or purple leaves look stunning shooting out of a halo of diamond frost. The mounding habit of diamond frost also works to cover the base of the elephant ear, which can become woody with age. |

| Torenia Torenia is a unique plant for a shadier spot and features large, bell-shaped flowers that come in a wide variety of colors including bold purples, pinks and yellow. This trailing beauty is a great match with the taller mounding form of diamond frost. The mixing of textures between the larger leafed Torenia and the fine diamond frost adds interest. |
