Growth & Care
Make sure to plant this plant in full sun and well drained soil! Also, be sure to give it plenty of room as it can grow up to 6 feet tall and 4 feet wide. Rest assured, you are not the only one who will enjoy this deer resistant late summer beauty, as it attracts beneficial bees and butterflies. Plus, this annual will reseed itself so you can enjoy it the following year! The only real drawback to this plant is that it has sharp spines so make sure you wear gloves and plant in an area that does not have high traffic.
