Hypericum 'Mystical Series' : A Wonderful Welcome to the Fall Season!

Hypericum, also known as St. John’s Wort, consists of a large group of shrubs and perennials that bear yellow flowers. These yellow flowers resemble single roses with a prominent sunburst of stamens in the center. You will find them in various forms, evergreen, semi-evergreen and deciduous, depending on the species. They perform well in sun to part sun and prefer a moderate to regular watering schedule. A great benefit of these plants is that most types resist deer damage. Depending on the variety, most grow to be three to four feet high and wide and can be used for mass plantings, ground covers, informal hedges and borders.
