5. Areca Palm
Palms come in a wide variety of choices. The areca palm is unique for its candid ability to adapt to almost any interior condition, as long as the temperature does not fall below 60 degrees F. Its plush foliage fills any room with delight!

Care Instructions: Likes average temperatures. Likes medium to bright, indirect sunlight. Very low maintenance palm.

4. Nobilis (Sanchezia)

This plant is a relative to the zebra plant and features showy yellow flowers that grow in upright clusters above the foliage. Though the flowers are quite lovely, the foliage takes center stage. Long (12” long!) leaves with yellow/ivory veins are certain to brighten any room.

Care Instructions: Prune each spring. Bright light, but no direct sunlight in summer. Mist leaves frequently.

3. Nepthytis (Polka Dot Plant)

This award-winning houseplant is known for its dramatic polka dots. The spotted leaves come in various colors and is sure to add a splash of color to any decor.

Care Instructions: Keep temperature above 55 degrees F in winter. Likes bright light. Mist foliage frequently. Fertilize once a week to make the polka dots more vivid and bright.

2. Carnivorous Plants (Venus Fly Trap)
This wonderful plant’s only source of food and nutrients are caught by their traps at the end of their stems. Insects are trapped by a sticky serum inside the plant that does not allow them to get away. Later, the insect dies and then the plant uses the insect as food.

Care Instructions: Likes some indirect sunlight. Keep compost moist at all times. Do not touch the fly traps for it will cause the serum to not function properly and the plant may not survive.

1. Wandering Jew Hanging Basket
The most colorful hanging basket available! Trailing silvery green leaves striped with a deep dark purple makes this plant a wonderful addition to any home! Small lavender flowers appear during the spring and summer months.

Care instructions: Medium to high light. Fertilize monthly during the growing season. Let dry between waterings. Use Osmocote three times a year.
